Intro

My name is Nathan, I’m 21 years old, and I live in New York. A couple of months ago, I was diagnosed with gastritis antral, a medical condition characterized by inflammation in the lower part of the stomach. For me, it was primarily caused by chronic stress and an eating disorder.

The journey you are about to join is all about treating this condition naturally through lifestyle and identity changes. I’m excited to share my journey toward complete healing with you.

My Path

My story begins back in elementary school.

Throughout my school years, I struggled socially and lived in constant fear of people who seemed determined to make my life a nightmare at every opportunity. Towards the end of elementary school, I was completely shunned for two weeks. From first through ninth grade, I was under perpetual stress due to relentless bullying and harassment.

However, like any challenge in life, these hardships shaped me into a stronger and more resilient person. The bullying fortified my mental toughness, and the social isolation, paradoxically, sharpened my communication skills, courage, and social abilities. More than anything, it taught me how to love and truly appreciate myself.

At 15, I was diagnosed on the autism spectrum and moved to a specialized communication class in high school. Later, I started my first job as a waiter at a coffee shop, where I faced endless bullying and harassment from others.

After a while, I began a seemingly never-ending series of medical tests for chronic abdominal pain. After six months of searching for answers, I was diagnosed with Gastritis Antral, a condition involving inflammation or lesions in the stomach lining, usually caused by chronic stress, poor diet, a weakened immune system, or long-term use of painkillers. In my case, I believe it was a combination of the first three factors.

For two months, I followed my gastroenterologist’s orders and took Nexium, but it only made things worse—causing dizziness, headaches, and more stomach pain without any relief. I realized this wasn't the right path for me and began exploring alternatives. That’s when I stumbled upon the world of alternative medicine and discovered healing methods I never knew existed.

I decided to commit fully to my recovery. I started acupuncture, drank specialized herbal teas, completely overhauled my diet, practiced meditation, and explored every natural avenue possible.

I’m still treating myself through natural methods, and while I know this journey has only just begun, I’ve already learned so much. I invite you all to join me on this path as I share the insights and experiences I gain along the way.

I promise it’ll be an interesting ride.
